Fridge not cooling
The most urgent fault of all. Causes range from failed fan motors and start relays to defrost system failures and low refrigerant. We prioritise fridges that have stopped cooling because your food is at risk.
Freezer icing up
A thick layer of frost or ice usually points to a failed defrost heater, timer or sensor, or a worn door seal letting humid air in. Left alone it eventually stops the fridge section cooling too.
Water leaking inside or underneath
Blocked defrost drains, cracked drain pans and ice maker lines are the usual culprits. A leak caught early is a quick repair; ignored, it can damage floors.
Clicking, buzzing or loud running
Repeated clicking often means a start relay struggling to start the compressor. Buzzing and rattling can be fan motors or loose components. Both are usually economical repairs.
Fridge freezing food
When the fresh food section freezes lettuce and milk, a faulty thermostat, damper or control board is usually to blame.
Ice maker or water dispenser faults
Common on French door and side by side fridges. Inlet valves, ice maker motors and filters are all parts we carry and replace on site.

My fridge stopped cooling. What should I do right now?
Keep the doors closed to hold the cold in, and call us on 0418 407 470. A closed fridge holds safe temperatures for around four hours and a full freezer for up to 48 hours. We prioritise no cooling callouts.
Is it worth repairing my fridge or should I replace it?
Most single faults, such as fans, relays, thermostats and defrost parts, are economical repairs that give the fridge years more life. We quote before any work and will tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.
Do you repair French door and side by side fridges?
Yes, including ice makers, water dispensers and dual cooling systems on brands like LG, Samsung, Westinghouse and Electrolux.
